Hi,
Christmas is coming around so fast! This week has been completely mad with school nativities, Christmas lunches, jumper days, remember this, remember that - especially fun when your children span different schools. I can already feel the routines starting to wobble and the homework and revision being gently pushed to one side. And you know what, I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. Yes, there is revision to be done over Christmas, especially if students are already playing catch up, but there also has to be space to rest, reset and actually enjoy some family time too.
My live sessions run term time only, which means next week will be the final week of live delivery this year (OMG!!). I do have a little Christmas surprise for my VIP members, although I cannot help but feel like science revision is one of the least exciting things you could possibly find under the tree. But here we are.
It's not over yet though so lets look to next week...

Next weeks topic: We are going to be looking at plant cell organisation. This is a really big topic that is so often overlooked. Do you know the structures inside a leaf and why they are shaped the way they are? Can you link structure to function and explain transpiration and translocation clearly? If not, this session is for you.
Yr 11: Exam Edge
Wed, 5:30pm, £35
Next weeks topic: Last night we had a brilliant session on forces, especially motion along a straight line. Students tackled some really complex uniform acceleration calculations, so well done to everyone who joined. Next week we will build on this further by looking at terminal velocity and Newton’s laws.
What's new...
